I don't like spiders that much either, but I would take them any day over a snake or a mouse.

I think it's a grass spider. They're mostly harmless, and easy to scoop up and deposit outside.

I just hate to lift up something and see them right there underneath. I've jumped a few times.

We see those spiders frequently around here. They are *huge*, aren't they?!? I think it's a wolf spider--harmless. I find it hilarious that it will freeze when you find it...like it's saying to itself, "She can't see me. She can't see me..." :)

oh and I hate it when they make a home in the kiddos toys! At least it's not a black widow :( looks like a harmless garden spider?

Oh my good lord, I would have screamed my head off. It's embarrassing to admit having a terror of those little things, but they creep me out so bad :p
